Andgar Mechanical, LLC, is seeking to hire a dynamic In-Home HVAC Salesperson.
This sales-driven role focuses on building strong customer relationships, closing deals, developing new accounts, and driving repeat business within the Mechanical Division. The position requires a solid understanding of HVAC systems, including performing load calculations, designing system layouts, and preparing bids and project negotiations. A strong knowledge of the HVAC industry and a commitment to delivering tailored solutions are essential for success. Actual duties may include some or all duties listed below.
Pay, Incentives, and Benefits:
- This Residential HVAC Sales role is a lucrative, uncapped commission sales role. Target total compensation of $112k/year at the minimum. Includes $21,600 - $28,800/year base, DOE.

Essential Job Functions:
- Provide customers with solutions for their HVAC and other home comfort needs
- Sales activities to build up to 50% referral work.
- Sales activities to include: self-generated leads, internal generated leads, Box Store Programs, neighborhood marketing initiatives, trade show participation, networking groups, others.
- Consult with potential and existing customers to provide a customized HVAC system solution including Andgar maintenance program
- Has the ability to champion the sales process to ensure customer education and satisfaction
- Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all sales agreements have been fulfilled to customer satisfaction
- Follow-up with existing sales bids and offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
- Emphasize salable features, quotes, prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for jobs sold
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Participate in various sales activities to support corporate efforts including, but not limited to, internal meetings, training sessions, trade shows, referral groups, etc.
- Responds to phone messages, emails in a timely manner
- Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- HVAC equipment knowledge from prior sales or installation role
- Goal-oriented, self-starting, and energetic
- Consistently meets the overall goals of Residential HVAC department
- Ability to self-generate leads
- Ability to work in all interior and exterior work environments where HVAC systems are found
- Ability to learn and show retention of skills learned in the work environment
- Ability to listen, communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, contractors, vendors and management on a positive level
- Responsive to inter-company personnel
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years prior sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
